Any Tips On Buying A Basketball Hoop?
Today, I am going to go to Sport chalet.
I am getting a red-colored rim, 10 feet tall, strong backboard, and adjustable height (maybe)

If at all possible, purchase an In Ground basketball hoop. They take a lot more time to install than a portable or wall mounted goal, but they are more stable and give you better rebound.
If you are buying a direct bury in ground hoop, make sure to purchase a ground sleeve as well (assuming a ground sleeve isn’t included already). They make the cement installation a heck of a lot easier, they even give you the option of removing the basketball pole from the ground should you ever want to.
You should also buy a basketball hoop with the largest “overhang” as possible. This is the distance form the pole to the backboard. On most systems is ranges in between one and half and two and a a half feet, but on pricier systems it can be the or four feet.
If at all possible, purchase a basketball goal that has a square pole rather than a round pole. While square poles are more expensive, they are typically thicker and allow for less vibration, which gives you better rebound.
Don’t purchase a basketball hoop with a fan shaped backboard. They are usually about the same price as units with rectangular backboards, but rectangular backboards give you more space to do bank shots.
Take a look at the warranty. Most basketball hoops only have a five year warranty, but if you spend the money for a higher quality system, you can find a few that have lifetime warranties.
Good luck with your new basketball system!

You should get adjustable height. Because if you ever want to dunk someday, you have to practice dunking on a smaller rim. With experience, you will increase your vertical leap and your dunking ability. So when you can dunk on a 10 ft rim, you would already know how hard it is and your weaknesses.
