I loved all the chalet School books - and I couldn’t tell you which was my favourite, because it always happened to be the one I was reading at the time!!! I got a lot of them second hand through jumble sales, and then got some reprints - my aim is to one day have the entire collection!!

Yes I wanted to be grizelda - I think I asked my family to call me that and they laughed (Not having read the books)
I loved those stories and Jo was so brave. I can’t remember each story only one where someone gets struck in the head with snowball with a stone in it - I think ht epale and interesting grizelda and it was Jo what dunnit - It was 50 odd years ago - I’d love to re read them thanks for reminding me.

I think ‘The chalet School in Exile’ is the best, but so many of them are so good.

Yes I did I loved them - I also think ‘The chalet School In Exile’ was my favourite, so exciting. Jo was my favourite character.

i read them as a teenager and still own some my favourite was the the chalet school triplets
