Does Anyone Know Anywhere On North East Coast?

where I can book a caravan, chalet or the like and take my dog. I don’t want a massive caravan park with loads of kids, I want somewhere nice and quiet where I can take my dog for long walks on the beach. Thanks. No sarcy answers thanks.

Primrose Valley in Scarborough, Light Water Valley, (actually about a 30 min drive from the coast) North Yorkshire and Whitby, North Yorkshire. I would go for Whitby as it is the prettiest (and where Bram Stoker wrote Dracula). Go to nearby Runswick Bay - it is absolutely beautiful. There is also a caravan park at Redcar, but it is rather depressing there! (although they do an excellent car boot sale at the race track on Sundays).

I think your best bet would be a caravan park in Northumberland, there are plently so just look around on the internet. Somewhere like Scarborough are probably a bit busier than what you are looking for but there are bound to be quieter parts if you look around. Tynemouth, near Newcastle might also be nice, although you should probably avoid Whitley Bay if you are looking for peace and quiet.

If it is walking you want with beaches etc but quiet, try Seahouses in Nothumberland, I cannot help you with names of the Caravan sites, but I know there are a few as we stopped there many years ago. Try the local council website (it may be under Alnwick the nearest main town)

There’s a caravan park in Druridge Bay, north of Newcastle. I think its called Cresswell towers. We stayed there a while back and it was great. Everything is there.

Try around Ballycastle on NE coast of NI, UK, as you are not being specific about NE.
NE of UK =Scotland.
