PQ: Is your child a scout? Will they be in the future or are scouts only good for cookies?

Girl scouts need to find something else to sell other than those little addictive sugar bombs. I once ate an entire box of samoans, thank goodness I was a nursing mother at the time. Now I’m middle aged and have to walk right by the cookie table, can’t have them in the house. Try popcorn like the boys!

I haven’t been able to get my cookies either.

This is the first year I didn’t buy scout cookies in at least 10 years. I missed out. =(
My girl is only 2 so she is still too young to be in Girl Scouts. If she wants to be when she is older, she will be.

We got em all here. I have 2 girls in scouts. Not sure if they will be in it for the long term but it is something to be involved in. I love the Daisy troop - they do so much!

You would think that living less than 15 minutes from Little Brownie Bakers, I would be able to get my cookies, but I have yet to see a box of Lemonades!
PQ: No. None of my kids wanted to join scouts.

i am in girlscouts, but since im older the troop leaders stop letting us sell cookies, which was one of the only fun things to do. don’t blame them for not having cookies, they probably didn’t expect a lot of late orders or people buying, if you got the cookies straight from a girl scout, then they probably didn’t have any to give you because they didn’t order extras (if you don’t buy extras, WE have to pay for them) but i agree about the lemonade cookies!! they will probably have the cookies fixed and out soon so don’t worry!! p.s. the lemonades r best cold
lol

Only good for cookies
I find it funny that you have a cookie ‘dealer’. Does she beat people up that are on her block?

I wish I had a girl just so she could be in girl scouts ha ha
I love those cookies!

I’m a recovering addict, but I suspect Meme Roth is behind this. That evil shrew.http://abcnews.go.com/GMA/BeautySecrets/…
My daughter is not a scout. It would be too dangerous for my recovery. Plus I’m not the camping type.

I remember being in Girl Scouts when I was younger. They used to have all of the good cookie flavors and cost around $2.00 a box. We used to be able to sell door to door and in front of the major grocery stores.
Now I don’t even know where to go to buy Girl Scout Cookies. I love the Thin Mints and the Tagalongs but I don’t have anyone coming up to my door to sell me any and when I go to the grocery stores I don’t see them selling them. I loved Girl Scouts when I was in it, but now I don’t really hear about them or their cookies anymore. It’s kind of a bummer.
I miss those cookies
But my child isn’t a scout and can’t be a Girl Scout in the future because he’s a boy.
