We are a couple with a 6 year old boy. We would like to spend a week based out of somewhere nice in the mountains in North or NE - renting a house/chalet or staying in a 3-4 star hotel. We like hiking, “adventure” things suitable for a 6 year old, won’t mind if there are other kids around, cultural attractions, eco-things, etc…
We would like to be able to travel for a day trip to Austria or Switzerland too, from where we are, so some decent highway access is important.
Language is not a problem as we are fluent in Italian.
