How Should I Have Budget Birthday?

my birthday falls on July and it will be my 17th birthday my budget for my birthday is $400?well it rather too budget..
anyway i had checked out the price for costa sand chalet(sentosa) roughly is $250..appro 20 people with stay(the most)well i dont wish to spent too much $ on foods and other stuffs..so anyone can tell me how to have a budget party? tips?hehes..btw thank

-Go on freecycle and post an ad in your area asking people if they have any left-over party decorations you can have. Chances are, you’ll find something in their decorations that you’d like.
-Make dinner a pot-luck so then everyone brings food and you don’t have to spend money on anything but a cake.
-It’s always cheaper to buy plain colored plates, napkins, cups, etc then ones with designs - so pick a color and get all your objects in that one color and set it against white table cloths and it will look like a decoration even though it’s just plates!
-If you don’t want to ask people to bring food, then have a bar-b-que. It’s July, so people will probably be expecting a pot-luck or bar-b-que anyways and hot dogs and buns aren’t really expensive and you can even MAKE burgers if you buy hamburger meat.
