Unless it was so bad (and you have the photos to prove it) that it ruined your holiday - then I doubt it. If you stayed the whole time allocated and made no complaints, then your chances are zero.
Next time, pay up and go to an hotel!

Did you complain to the office there at the time?
also did you take photos to back up any claim.
i went through a similar ordeal when i went on holiday to spain, absolutely filthy room and bathroom, ants/cockroaches, and smelly bathroom, I was told i couldn’t claim anything as they said i hadn’t made a complaint at the time to the holiday rep ( not a complaint , but told her about it) or had any proof ,

I don’t think so as its not exactly known for being 5 star!
I stayed at Pointins once - never again! Ha ha.
Unfortunately i think its to be expected from a holiday camp - i think they pride themselves on the entertainment aspect more than the accommodation!

To be honest all I hear these days is how dirty and expensive Butlins is and yet people still pay a fortune to go there. I never ever would in a million years!

Try writing to head office, detailing your holiday ref, and chalet number etc, and tell them just how bad it was. They won’t refund, but they might offer you a discount towards your next holiday. Although my personal advise would be to go to Haven, and you will get a better choice of accommodation, better facilities, and cheaper prices. Next time, when you get there and it isn’t clean enough, insist that they send a cleaner staright round to do it as soon as you get there. Good luck

No. I had the same happen to me, and they blantly refused me a refund or even some sort of compensation.
