Idea For Kids Birthday Party?
Hi this coming December, we’ll be celebrating our children’s birthday party. our son will be turning 1 and our daughter will be turning 2. we have decided on a “pirates of the Caribbean” theme. does anyone have any ideas/suggestions onn what goes along with this? eg: menu, party favours, activities etc?
extra info:
we’ll be dressing them up like pirates and the invitation cards and cake and decorations will all be within the theme. the children invited are mostly around their age so i guess games r out of the question. party time is around 4-7 and we’ll be having it at a chalet.

i once had a pirate birthday when i was around four.
it was my best birthday ever…
my dad built a wooden keg for root beer,
(can be purchased at craft shows or online for pretty cheap)
my mom built a pirate ship out of cardboard and we all had little swords
(most likely cardboard or some such material…)
they might be too little for all of this but i hope it can help…
we also had a treasure hunt which is great for kids.
best wishes

The pirate theme sounds so cute! But you know that one year olds, well, they are a little young to understand the theme, so you might want to include them in other ways.
Something that babies, toddlers & older kids love is music. So you could incorporate that into your party favors. And you can even find little rubber duckies that look like they are dressed up (& some of them even look like pirates, so that could go with your theme).
You can find rubber duckies & affordable, good quality kids musical party favors at http://www.musictomyears.com/ChildrenMus…

Well, the menu could be meatball subs (”Cannonball sandwiches”). Soda in bottles might look like rum bottles. You could make a scavenger hunt with the list of things to find drawn treasure-map style. Maybe since your kids are so little they might enjoy sailing toy boats in a plastic pool (maybe inside, where it’s warm, and even with warm water?)
That’s all the ideas I can think of!

Happy Birthday to your children in advance!
There are so many unique things you can do to make your children day special. Just taking pictures and video makes it special.
Besides, you may use some of pirates of the Caribbean stickers here below to decorate the party or give those children who participate the party for their souvenirs as well.
Have a great time at the party.
