Vermont Colonized By City Yuppies, Should They Build Section8 Housing Not Chalets?
It’s nice to be detached.
Wouldn’t the scenery be just as beautiful to low income’rs?
Should there be a federal bill to encourage section 8 housing migration?

You know you can buy 350 acres up there for around $250,000. Sounds damn cheap to me. I’d bet low incomers couldn’t beat the winters though. And what would they do for work? Do you know anything about Vermont? It may be a bunch of liberals up there, but let them have it. It’s a small state. So be it.

I am glad Vermont voted for Obama over Hillary “Rotten” Clinton! She is a lying flip flopping scum bag!
Vermont is a nice place and it is misunderstood by a lot of idiots out there!

No. it would adversely affect people who have inner city properties. and investments. Their multiplier’s affect would be huge. They contribute to communities too. They also contribute to officials campaigns, that power would be spread.
Social workers would have to commute.

Actually, you won’t find many city slums and government projects in Vermont, you are much more likely to find those in the south, places like, Texas, Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, or Florida.
