What Do You Think Of Sport Chalet As A Place To Buy A Bike?

Just wondering, its not target or walmart, then again its not your local bike shop either.

They are no different than either Wal Mart or K Mart or Target…a bit more expensive but no better and the service is the same. Just like the big box stores they should stick to golf balls, B-balls and fishing gear. Most bike Mfg’s sell to Sports Authority and the others to get rid of their low end crap and even though you may see a name brand you know, it is their low end crap and it just appears to look better then the other stores, I know this because I bought one from Dick’s sporting goods back in 04 and although it appeared a good bike….it wasnt!
Edit: then tell me which one and I will go to their website and see what they have to offer then otherwise I stand by my answer, and thanks Bob for agreeing!

It’s this same stuff Walmart and other department stores sell.
When you find the bicycle section for Sport chalet please post it.
Walk into the store and ask to buy.
Crank arm puller.
Pedal wrench.
Clipples pedals.
Derailleur hanger or a deralleur.
Handle bar stems or handlebars.
Shifters or shift cables.
My guess is you will find helmets, waterbottles, and a lot less things that can be found in the local Walmart.
