There are plenty of charming inns and hotels in the Old Montreal area, but I get the impression that's not what you're looking for. You'll need to go to the Laurentians or the Eastern Townships for that country chalet feeling. Here are two very nice, romantic places I've been:http://www.manoirhovey.com/http://www.farhillsinn.com/ANGLAIS/index… (rustic...no TVs or radios in the rooms, but very cozy and nice!)
