Working And Living In Yallingup, South West Wa?

I have always wanted to move down to the south west coast and buy a chalet or villa of some sort.
I am curious to hear from anyone who lives there (especially Yallingup) and share their views, anyone who has moved from Perth to the South West, house prices, and especially, how do jobs in the housing industry fair, as i am a painter, will i get much work?

I moved from Perth to down south around 2 years ago and all I can say is I miss Perth alot but that’s because I’m a city girl but life down here is very cruisy and Yallingup is a gorgeous place to move to.
As for housing prices they are quite pricey but where isn’t? .. And I am pretty certain you would have a good chance at getting work down here if you are painter.
