It is not like a wild animal will know your mom is not just food. I really think she should think about moving out of the territory of the Mountain Lion. Maybe the rights to the land are the Mountain Lion's. The problem is how do you get a mountain lion to pay property tax. The Mountain lion looses, your Mom wins. At least you know what to buy her for the holidays.....more ammunition. If you want to keep your Mom it sounds like she needs the gun.
