I have a small area of ceiling in a chalet-style house that backs directly onto the rafters. I have removed the polstyrene tiles to reveal (plaster?)boarding - which I will artex. what exactly does ‘chalet board’ mean in context of ski accomodation? i know it means that staff cook for you 6 days out of 7 & provide continental breakfast…but do they come into your chalet & do that or is food served in a central area where there will be other people from other chalets?
